Catching strong fish off the beach or out of a boat, this reel will handle them with ease. Full stainless back and metal side cast system gives reliability and strength to handle heavy lines and large fighting fish. Super-strong injection molded fibre glass spool with a switch to engage multi-plate clutch with a metal star nut finishes the job. The multiple clutch is made up of polished brass plates and fibre friction washers which are oiled with Alvey Reel Oil to give a smooth strong clutch action. A fish alert switch on the backside of the reel can be engaged when leaving the rod and reel unattended to warn you of a fish taking line. Great casting distance and resistance to salt and sand make this one tough reel. A very versatile reel to handle a very wide range of fish on a large surf rod or mounted on a short stubby boat rod Ideal for tailor, salmon, mackerel. Left handed reels are available.
